Privacy Policy

CADConvert ("we", "us") provides an online PDF-to-CAD conversion service at lilbadash.com/cad-convert. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to match what the service actually does.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. When you register we collect your email address, an optional display name, and a password. Passwords are stored only as salted bcrypt hashes — we cannot read them. If you sign in with Google (where offered), we receive your name and email address from your Google profile and never see your Google password.
• Payment information. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers and we never store it. We keep payment records limited to the plan purchased, the amount, a Stripe transaction reference, and the payment status.
• Files you upload. PDF files you submit are uploaded to our servers solely to perform the conversion. The uploaded PDF is deleted from our servers automatically when the conversion finishes (whether it succeeds or fails). The converted output file (DXF) is retained on our servers so you can download it, and a conversion history record (file name, output format, status, timestamp) is kept with your account.
• Usage analytics. We collect basic first-party usage data (page views and the referring page) to understand how the product is used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

2. How we use information

• To operate the service: convert your files, deliver downloads, track your credit balance and subscription status.
• To process purchases and prevent abuse (for example, refunding credits automatically when a conversion fails).
• To respond to support requests you send us.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your uploaded files for anything other than performing your conversion.

3. Cookies

We use a single essential authentication cookie (an HTTP-only session token) to keep you signed in to the converter. Stripe may set its own cookies during checkout under its policy. We do not set third-party advertising cookies.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product: Stripe (payment processing) and our hosting infrastructure. We may disclose information if required by law. There is no sale or rental of personal data to anyone.

5. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are bcrypt-hashed, authentication cookies are HTTP-only, and uploaded files are processed on access-restricted servers.

6. Data retention & deletion

Account records, conversion history, and converted output files are retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing lilbadashsupport@gmail.com; we will remove your account data within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes.

7. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
